About Orchard Ridge Country Club
Swimming
What better way to spend your summer months than with the family, poolside, at Orchard Ridge Country Club? The Club’s outdoor swimming pool is a 25-meter 6-lane competition pool, with a special diving pool with 2 one-meter diving boards, and a wading pool for children under the age of six. There is a small playground area next to the wading pool for the younger children.
Swim, Dive & Prep Team
We are proud of the ORCC swim team, which presently has over 150 members who compete with other inner-club and inner-city swim teams in and around Fort Wayne.
The objective of the Swim and Dive Teams is to provide a competitive program that encourages and promotes camaraderie, effort, team spirit, good sportsmanship, and personal bests, along with improving overall swimming and diving skills.
Safety
Certified lifeguards constantly supervise the pool area to assure the safety of the Club’s members. In addition to overseeing the pool area, the lifeguards instruct private lessons, group lessons, and diving classes.
Relax
Chaise lounges and deck chairs surround the swimming pool for those wishing to watch and relax in the sun. The Snack Bar, locker rooms, and restroom facilities are conveniently located near the pool area.
Pool Hours
The pool is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Summer Pool Hours:
Monday – Thursday | 12:00-7:00 PM
Friday | 12:00-9:00 PM
Saturday & Sunday | 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
*Pool closes for Home Swim Meets at 4:00 pm. Baby pool open during morning swim & dive practices.
